Sesé strengthens its industrial business and integrates the automotive components company, Kit Online
- The company is expanding its presence in Martos (Jaén), where it already has a centre dedicated to the assembly and injection of plastics for automotive lighting systems
- The Kit Online activities have been incorporated into Sesé’s existing business and will allow the company to triple its assembly and injection capacity in the region
- This integration is part of Sesé’s commitment to its automotive industrial division and its long-term commitment to its strategic partner Valeo
Sesé is incorporating Kit Online into its industrial division, a company that is dedicated to the injection of plastics and the manufacture of components for the automotive industry. The company is thus reinforcing its business dedicated to industrial services for the automotive industry, which it already carries out at its assembly centre located in Martos (Jaén).
Sesé provides an integral lighting system assembly service for Valeo at its facilities in Jaén, Spain, which includes plastic injection, component assembly, spare parts and logistics services. The integration of the activity of Kit Online and its proprietary company, Seripol, specialized in precision injection and multi-injection of plastic components, will allow Sesé to triple its assembly and injection capacity in the region.
Sergio Treviño, Sesé’s CEO, has highlighted that “Sesé’s industrial division was actually formed in Jaén, where we established our first automotive assembly centre. Today, we have a solid business that has grown exponentially at an international level and is capable of assembling any module for electric and combustion vehicles. The integration of Kit Online is a further commitment to this business unit and is part of our firm commitment to Valeo as a strategic partner for Sesé, bringing maximum value to the automotive supply chain”.
Sesé has been active in Martos since 2009, where it began its transport and logistics services business. Subsequently, the company established its first industrial assembly centre in the region and, in 2010, opened its first Special Employment Centre. Here, people with disabilities can find jobs suited to their personal characteristics, facilitating their integration into the labour market. At the Martos site, one of Sesé’s four such centres nationwide, employees carry out thermoplastic injection moulding.
Sesé has eight production centres worldwide in Spain, Germany and North America, where it carries out the integral assembly of modules for electric and combustion vehicles, such as front and rear axles, front ends, cockpits, central consoles and lighting systems, among others.
