Sesé launches a new logistics operation for the manufacturer International in Mexico
/ The company manages supply to the assembly line and the sequencing of materials at the brand’s largest production centre worldwide
Sesé has launched a new logistics operation in Mexico for International, a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles in North America.
This operation, which began in May, is based at the company’s largest assembly plant globally, located in the industrial area of the city of Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo León. The facility has a production capacity of around 200 lorries per day, the majority of which are destined for international export.
As part of this project, Sesé manages the sequencing of materials, including activities such as goods receipt, warehousing, kitting, sequencing, inventory control and other value-added services. To this end, Sesé operates from two warehouses with a combined floor area of 90,000 square metres. The operation also includes the management of a trailer yard with capacity for over 850 lorries.
This project consolidates Sesé’s presence in Mexico and reinforces its position as a strategic partner in complex industrial operations within the automotive sector, providing comprehensive logistics solutions tailored to highly demanding environments.
